I've run across a lot of comics I want to read, recently, as well as some lovely boots I can't afford (for which I BLAME STRAMURDAY AND ALL THE MODCLOTH LINKS, GOSH).
Speaking of which: TODAY WAS STRAMURDAY! I almost forgot, because my calendar is broken, but I made it to the stram anyway. WOT WOT!
SPEAKING OF STRAM:
FUCKING LOOK AT THAT! Courtesy of Charmcaser; CHARMY ROCKS! :D
The day before yesterday was a little gloomy, but things got CRAZY (thunder + hail + sunshine) and yesterday was actually pretty nice -- the gloom still had a grip on my mood though, so I spent some time reading up on the deck in the sunshine -- and today is awesome, and I'm probably going back up there when I'm done posting. :3
Speaking of reading, check my spoils! I got me some wicked spoils lately:
Aside from Proust was a Neuroscientist (which I've already read), they're pretty much on rotation depending on what I happen to grab first -- though at this rate I'll probably end up finishing Savage Harvest first.
H...hey do you guys know about retail
also do you know we sell caffeine and sugar
I also found a bunch of articles I wanted to post:
I'm in a bit of a slump. I've had some time to work on things, but my sleep schedule's so out of whack that it hasn't really happened :/ I guess I have the weekend, though -- my brother's going out of town, so I'll have the place to myself for a few days. In the meantime, here are some things:
The first three were drawn by this person, who is fantastic.
Speaking of TF2, this is my new wall spray:
WCZP is getting really crazy and fun, by the way, and I love it:
JESUS KATE WTF
This one I drew awhile back, because...well, I'd watch it:
And a truefactoid brought to you by being hungover:
Well I guess this is post #100, so I'm going to start with some pretty, pretty things:
This is in British Columbia. My current dream is to someday work-at-or-own a bookstore up there, and spend my days off wandering around fucking elven forests.
"Emergency workers report that the damage from Valentine's day is worse than previously projected. They describe bodies, strewn upon the ground, covered in glitter and paper cupids. Entire buildings collapsed, leaving only rubble and chalky candy hearts."
I stumbled across a manga recommendation thread on SA (via a Retsutalk episode) and found some good stuff...I'm still reading through a few of them, but man...Goons definitely know what they're about -- masters of all things, etc. THANKS, THE GOONS!
In Qualia the Purple, Marii thinks people look like robots. Hey, that's swell -- but are you guys ready...FOR FRIENDSHIP
Baaaaaw.
Friendship (and borderline yuri), philosophy, and quantum physics... what more could a gal ask for?!
YEEEEAH REPRESENT
...aaaand this is one from Curvy I've been meaning to put up.
So! Some good finds there; apparently my to-read queue ISN'T BIG ENOUGH.
...It's nice to have the distraction, though; I got a mean case of the feels this past week, for which I (mostly) blame winter. It was so snowy here they ended up cutting a bunch of shifts at work... which at least meant I didn't have to bike in the snow, so that's a plus... and I have some good default things on the internet now for when I'm feeling down and need some cheering up. :3 They are the best things.
...so I guess screw you, future self? To be fair: you should probably have seen this coming based on our shared past experience of screwing over future selves.
